Motorola has just introduced their newest smartphone, namely the Motorola Edge (2023). This smartphone is here to accompany the Motorola Edge Plus (2023) which was previously released.
Performance has been improved
Motorola Edge (2023) is powered by a Dimensity 7030 SoC with 6 nm fabrication while the moto Edge Plus model is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC which is designed using 4 nm fabrication technology.
Even so, this cellphone has the same RAM capacity, namely 8 GB, but the storage capacity is only 256 GB or half that of the Motoro Edge Plus 2023 which has 512 GB of storage.
In the camera sector, Edge (2023) is equipped with two rear cameras with a 50 MP main camera configuration which has OIS features and a 13 MP ultrawide. Meanwhile, for selfies, a 32 MP camera is provided which is installed in the punch hole.
This smartphone screen uses a 6.6 inch P-OLED panel with FHD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels). The screen supports a refresh rate of 144 Hz, HDR10+ and a brightness of 1,200 nits.
In the software section, this smartphone with a body size of 158.4 x 72 x 7.6 mm and a weight of 168 grams runs the Android 13 operating system by default and it is reported that the company will soon provide an Android 14 update.
Motorola Edge (2023) is supported by a 4,400 mAh battery and is equipped with 68W fast charging technology and 15W wireless charging. This cellphone has a fingerprint on the screen and has an IP68 certificate.
A number of other features it brings include 5G network, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB-C port.
