In terms of appearance, there are no significant changes between the two. However, there are several updates regarding the specifications.

OnePlus Ace 3

The front of the OnePlus Ace 3 looks identical to its predecessor. There are curves on the left and right sides towards the frame. At the top of the screen, there is a punch hole which also contains a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

The screen is an AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1.5K and a variable refresh rate of 120Hz. The OnePlus Ace 3 screen spans 6.78 inches with a maximum brightness of 4500nits and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

The backs of both are also very identical. Like the front, there are curves on the left and right sides towards the frame. Then, there is a circular module containing an LED flash and three cameras with the following configuration.

The OnePlus Ace 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. This makes it more powerful than its predecessor which relied on Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Both smartphones are equipped with the same type of RAM, namely LPDDR5X. However, the OnePlus Ace 3 uses UFS 4.0 type storage media

The power source for the OnePlus Ace 3 is a 5500 mAh battery, slightly larger than the 5000mAh battery of the OnePlus Ace 2. However, both of them support 100W fast charging. The OnePlus Ace 3 ran ColorOS 14 based on Android 14, while the OnePlus Ace 2 ran ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 when it was launched.
