Review Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T 5G – The Redmi Note 9T 5G is finally officially launched and it’s not really a brand new smartphone. This is the global version of the Redmi Note 9 5G that the company released in China last November.
The Redmi Note 9T 5G comes packed with a punch-hole design with a 6.53-inch diagonal IPS LCD panel that offers Full HD Plus resolution with 450 nits of brightness and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz.
The punch hole placed in the top left corner is home to a single 13 megapixel camera for taking selfies or video calls. While on the back, the Redmi Note 9T 5G carries a triple-camera setup packed in a circular camera module.
There is a difference here, where the Redmi Note 9T 5G loses an ultrawide camera like that of the Redmi Note 9 5G and replaces it with a 2 megapixel macro camera. Meanwhile, the two remaining cameras remain the same, namely the 48 megapixel main camera and the 2 megapixel macro camera.
Redmi Note 9T 5G relies on the Dimensity 800U like the recently launched Realme V15 5G. Dimensity 800U is a MediaTek processor built on 7nm and is equipped with 5G connectivity support.
Helping Dimensity 800U, the Redmi Note 9T 5G is given 6GB of RAM and a choice of storage between 64GB or 128GB. One of the main highlights of the Redmi Note 9T 5G is the large battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh which is enough to make it possible for you to continue to use it for fun activities all day long.
Redmi Note 9T 5G is also equipped with 18W fast charging technology to ensure it gets faster power. Rounding out the specs, we get Hi-Res Audio certified dual stereo speakers plus a linear motor, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, and NFC support.
Redmi Note 9T has also been equipped with a nano coating that makes it resistant to splashes of water and the 3.5mm headphone jack is not left in the pocket. Lastly, the Redmi Note 9T comes running the MIUI 12 interface which is based on the Android 10 OS.
