Review Tecno Camon 18 Premier – Tecno Camon 18 Premier officially launched with specifications and features like today’s flagship phones. Tecno Camon 18 Premier carries a large AMOLED type screen, fast refresh rate, powerful specifications, to a periscope camera.
This latest Android cellphone is packaged with a design that is quite different from the latest mid-range Android cellphone currently available. The body frame design tends to be boxy which gives a more elegant impression.
This smartphone screen is AMOLED type with a size of 6.7 inches which is equipped with a camera hole in the middle of it. The screen resolution is Full HD + and supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
It is not yet known whether this phone supports an adaptive refresh rate which is useful for saving power. The screen is also claimed to be able to display content well outdoors thanks to a maximum light intensity of up to 550 nits.
In terms of cameras, the Tecno Camon 18 Premier has three rear cameras and one front camera. On the back, there is a 64MP main camera, 12MP gimbal camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with a periscope system that can take pictures with optical magnification up to 5 times.
While on the front, there is a 32MP camera that is supported by AI or artificial intelligence-based features. Various camera features are pinned by Tecno on this latest cellphone.
For example, Night Portrait Video, Portrait Video Bokeh, to Super Night Mode. Utilizing a periscope lens, there is also a Moon Probe feature that allows users to capture images of the moon quite well.
Despite being the highest series, the Tecno Camon 18 Premier is not equipped with high-end specifications with the Snapdragon 800 Series or MediaTek Dimensity Series processors. This latest Tecno cellphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G96 which is paired with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage memory.
The battery has a capacity of 4,750 mAh which is supported by 33W fast charging. Other features, this smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the power button, NFC, has a 3.5mm audio jack, and is already running on the Hi OS 8.0 operating system based on Android 11.
