Review Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G – Samsung today opened a new round of foldable device innovation with its newest foldable smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G. The successor to the Galaxy Z Fold2 brings many interesting specifications and features.
There are two latest folding smartphones released by Samsung, namely the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G. Galaxy Z Fold3 5G is a premium foldable smartphone designed with flagship-level craftsmanship and innovation that Samsung users have been waiting for.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 is powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.84 GHz. This chipset is also supported by the presence of 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB / 512 GB of internal storage without the support of a microSD slot.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 is supported by a battery with a relatively small capacity, only 4,400 mAh with support for 25W fast charging, 10W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
As for the operating system, Samsung’s latest cellphone runs on the OneUI 3.1 operating system based on Android 11. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 has a USB-C port, WLAN-ax (WiFi 6), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, and of course the 5G connection.
This smartphone also supports the S Pen with two options, namely the S Pen Fold Edition and the S Pen Pro. Both have retractable edges to protect the main screen from the Fold3.
In terms of cameras, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 is equipped with very reliable specifications. This sophisticated folding smartphone has a total of five cameras.
On the back, Samsung uses three 12MP sensors consisting of a main, ultrawide, and telephoto camera with up to 2 times optical zoom capability. Especially for the main camera and telephoto, it has been equipped with OIS or optical image stabilization.
Interestingly here, Samsung has finally adopted the Under Display Camera technology or the camera under the main screen of the Galaxy Z Fold3. This camera offers a 4MP resolution with an aperture of f/1.8. While on the outside, there is a 10MP camera.
The Galaxy Z Fold3 has also gone through rigorous folding tests, verified by Bureau Veritas, to withstand 200,000 folds. This smartphone is also equipped with the latest powerful 5nm AP fabrication and 5G network support.
