Review Realme V15 5G – The Realme V15 5G arrives featuring a punch-hole design for the selfie camera holder which is placed in the upper left corner of the screen. The back of the back is more attractive, it has a back panel which can reflect light at different angles.
Realme V15 5G packs a 6.4-inch OLED panel by offering Full HD Plus resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) which produces a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8% plus peak brightness of 600 nits, 1000000: 1 contrast ratio, and touch sampling rate support. 180Hz.
The under-display fingerprint sensor is another addition to device security, while the punch hole placed in the top left corner of the screen is home to a single 16 megapixel camera for taking selfies or video calls.
There’s also a 64-megapixel main camera on the back in a triple-camera setup that’s mounted vertically and packaged in a rectangular camera module complete with an LED flash.
The two remaining cameras are an 8 megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2 megapixel macro camera which is further equipped with photographic features such as Super Night Mode for front and rear cameras, AI Beauty, Portrait Mode, Movie Mode, UIS Max video recording, and many more.
Realme V15 is powered by Dimensity 800U which is MediaTek’s chipset built on a 7nm process and supports 5G dual-mode SA / NSA connectivity combined with a choice of RAM between 6GB or 8GB and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
Realme has also equipped this new smartphone with a copper tube to help dissipate heat. Another highlight of the Realme V15 5G is dual nano-SIM support, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, speakers that are Hi-Res Audio certified.
Meanwhile, to make it usable all day long, Realme V15 5G has a battery with a capacity of 4,310 mAh which is quite large and has been supported by 50W fast charging technology to allow it to get faster power via the USB Type-C port. But Realme ships with a 65W power adapter and a USB Type-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter.
Realme V15 5G comes running the Realme UI 1.0 interface which is unfortunately still based on the Android 10 operating system. But the company says that its smartphone will receive Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 soon in an upcoming update.
