Review Oppo A53s – The Oppo A53s 5G is the successor to the Oppo A53 which was launched in December last year. The device has a thin bezel on the sides with a thick chin. This new phone has three rear cameras and a side fingerprint sensor.
The Oppo A53s is equipped with a 6.54-inch IPS LCD screen with HD + resolution (720 x 1600 pixels) with a screen-to-body ratio of 88.87 percent and a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Users can also add external memory considering that there is already a microSD slot with support for up to 1 TB.
The Oppo A53s carries three rear cameras with a configuration of 13 MP (primary) + 2 MP (depth sensor) + 2 MP (macro). There is an 8 MP front camera sensor to support selfie and video call needs.
The device has a 5,000 mAh battery which is claimed to be able to play videos for 17.74 hours. In terms of dimensions, the Oppo A53s 5G measures 164 x 75.7 x 8.4 mm and weighs 189.6 grams.
Some of the connectivity options provided include support for 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C port.
