Review LG K52 | K62 – After launching the LG K42 and LG K71 a few days ago, they are now adding two of their K-Series members by making official LG K62 and LG K52.
Either the K62 or the LG K52 are both positioned as mid-range smartphones, and they also have nearly identical specifications. Where both come with a perforated screen design and boast a 48MP quad-camera on the back.
First the LG K62, this phone comes with a 6.6-inch LCD screen which provides Full HD Plus resolution and has a high aspect ratio of 20: 9.
This new smartphone from LG packs a punch-hole design, aka a perforated screen which is home to a 28 megapixel selfie camera. While on the back, we get a quad-camera setup.
The four cameras installed in the rectangular-shaped camera module consist of a 48 megapixel main camera equipped with the ability to do Live Streaming on YouTube directly through the camera application.
The remaining three cameras are a 115 ° 5 megapixel ultra wide lens, a 2 megapixel macro lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. Accompanying the camera, there is an LED flash and AI CAM to help provide recommendations for the best camera settings.
The LG K62 is powered by an octa-core chipset which is clocked at 2.3GHz. The processor name is not mentioned, but it comes paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
If it’s still lacking, there’s a microSD card to allow users to expand their storage capacity even more. And like other LG smartphone lineups, the LG K62 has passed eight MIL-STD-810G testing categories.
Complementing the specs, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a dedicated button for the Google Assistant and the phone runs the Android 10 operating system with the LG UX interface on top.
Meanwhile, to keep it running, the LG K62 smartphone has a 4,000 mAh battery that can be charged via USB Type-C.
Moving on to the LG K52, the smartphone that was spotted for the first time earlier this month has mostly similar specs to the LG K62. Includes a punch-hole design with the same screen that is 6.6 inches and offers Full HD Plus resolution and an aspect ratio of 20: 9.
The difference is seen in photography, where the LG K52 has a smaller 13 megapixel selfie camera. But behind there is still a quad-camera consisting of a 48 megapixel main camera, a 5 megapixel camera and a pair of 2 megapixel cameras.
The internal storage capacity has also been reduced to 64GB, but it can still be expanded using a microSD card and 4GB of RAM. Just like the LG K62, which chipset the LG K52 uses is not yet known. Apart from the selfie camera and storage, the rest of the LG K52 specs are the same as the LG K62.
