Review Honor 50 | Honor 5 Pro – Honor has finally officially released various products, including the Honor 50, Honor 50 Pro, Honor 50 SE, and Honor Earbuds 2 SE.
The Honor 50 and its Pro models are the standouts among the rest, with many rumors and leaks having surfaced on the internet in recent times.
The Honor 50 has a 6.57-inch curved OLED display that supports a 120Hz screen refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The screen is designed with a single punch-hole located at the top center of the screen.
On the other hand, the Honor 50 Pro sports a 6.72-inch display, but with a dual punch-hole in the top-left corner of the screen. While other design aspects look similar to the Honor 50.
The rear design of the Honor 50 series is inspired by Rollei’s dual reflex cameras. The lens module adopts a dual lens layout and uses a Cartier-like ring design around the main lens.
In terms of performance, the camera focuses on vlog video recording. Video capabilities also support 6 multi-lens video recording modes, including fast-slow motion resume and single and dual lens resume.
The rear cameras of both smartphone models are packed with the same specifications, namely a 108MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor.
The front camera of the Honor 50 Pro consists of a 12MP video lens and a 32MP selfie lens. The selfie camera supports 100-degree ultra wide video recording and night view super selfie function. While the Honor 50 has a 32MP selfie lens.
Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro are both powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, which uses 6nm process technology and Kryo 670 architecture. The CPU consists of one 2.4GHz super core, three 2.2GHz large cores, and four 1.9GHz small cores. For graphics, this 5G-capable processor integrates an Adreno 642L GPU.
Honor 50 is equipped with a 4300mAh battery capacity and supports 66W wired fast charging. While the Honor 50 Pro is equipped with a 4000mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging
