The Pixel 8 will be available in three color options: Obsidian, Hazel, and Rose, while the Pixel 8 Pro will come in Obsidian, Porcelain, and Bay variants.
The Pixel 8 will have a 6.17-inch OLED display with full-HD+ resolution, while the Pro model will get a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED with QHD resolution.
Both phones are powered by the Tensor G3 SoC and will be available in 8GB + 12GB and 128GB + 256GB RAM and storage variants. They will run the Android 14 operating system.
The Pixel 8 will have a dual rear camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens.
Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 Pro will have a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical imaging.
Stabilization (OIS), 48 megapixel sensor with ultra-wide lens, and 48 megapixel telephoto camera with 5x zoom. Both front cameras have a resolution of 10.5 megapixels.
Google will provide seven years of OS and security updates for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
Users will also be able to access advanced features such as Real Tone, Night Sight, Astrophotography and Super Res Zoom.
Additionally, the phone will be equipped with Audio Eraser, which can reduce background noise in videos.
The Pixel 8 will have a 4,485mAh battery with support for 24W wired and 12W wireless fast charging, while the Pixel 8 Pro will pack a 4,950mAh battery with 27W wired fast charging and 12W wireless charging.
