Carrying the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the OnePlus 12 was officially released after leaks online. This cellphone has high-end specifications.
OnePlus 12 has almost the same design as its predecessor. The company calls it Time Design, inspired by luxury watches with hollow curved designs.
One of the striking design changes is the move of the alert slider to the left side of the phone, which OnePlus says was done to make room for a larger antenna on the right side.
The OnePlus 12’s display is a 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO QHD+ with an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120Hz, the same as the OnePlus 11. It offers a sharp, bright and responsive display, with support for HDR10+ and Always-on Display. This screen has a brightness level of up to 4,500 nits.
The OnePlus 12 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is the latest and fastest chipset from Qualcomm. OnePlus installed a VC 9140 mm2 cooling system to keep this new cellphone cool.
OnePlus 12 has a choice of 12 GB LPDDR5x RAM, 16 GB and 24 GB RAM. Meanwhile, the internal memory is up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 type which offers high data transfer speeds.
In the photography sector, the OnePlus 12 has a camera with a Hasselblad touch. The composition consists of a 50 MP main camera with a Sony LYT-808 sensor used by the OnePlus Open, a 48 MP ultra-wide camera using a Sony IMX581 sensor, a 64 MP periscope telephoto camera with an Omnivision OV64B sensor.
The OnePlus 12 battery is 5,400mAh. This battery supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging, which is claimed to be able to fully charge the battery in 26 minutes. This battery also supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.
This cellphone supports IR blaster, NFC and is IP65 certified. Even more complete with 5G, WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connections.
