Review Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime – The Galaxy M31 Prime Edition is a new variant of the Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M31s that Samsung released earlier. Apart from the additional “Prime Edition”, this phone borrows most of the specs and designs on the Galaxy M31.
Perhaps the difference is that the Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime Edition is built with e-commerce giant Amazon. It is complemented by a variety of Amazon’s most popular ecosystem applications to provide consumers with a distinct experience.
Some of them are Amazon Shopping, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Prime Music, Kindle, and Audible. Not only that, the Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime Edition is also equipped with the Always on Amazon shopping application which gives users quick access to products on Amazon by simply sliding the screen.
As far as the specifications are concerned, we still get a Super AMOLED screen measuring 6.4 inches which produces Full HD Plus resolution by packing the Infinity-U design aka water droplets.
There’s a small notch at the top that houses a single 32 megapixel selfie camera. While on the back, the Galaxy M31 Prime Edition carries a quad-camera setup which is embedded in a rectangular camera module.
The four cameras consist of a 64 megapixel main camera combined with an 8 megapixel ultrawide camera. There is also a pair of 5 megapixel cameras which act as a macro lens and a depth sensor, respectively.
The camera on this new cellphone from Samsung comes equipped with interesting photography features, including a special night mode, super-steady mode, support for 4K video friendship, slow-mo, and the ability to record in hyperlapse mode.
Moving on to the hardware, there’s Samsung’s own 64-bit octa-core processor called the Exynos 9611 which is built on a 10nm process. Helping the processor, the Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime Edition has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can still be expanded via a microSD card up to 512GB.
Meanwhile, to keep it running, the smartphone running on Android OS 10 with the OneUI 2.1 interface on it is powered by a large battery with a capacity of 6,000 mAh and is also supported by 15W fast-charging technology.
