Honor is making another breakthrough by launching its newest mobile phone called the Honor Magic 5 Series at the MWC 2023 event.

This cellphone is present as a more powerful version compared to the previous model, namely the Honor Magic 5 Lite which was launched in the middle of the month.

Honor Magic 5 pro

The Magic 5 Series itself consists of two cellphones namely Magic 5 and Magic 5 Pro which both come with super-specifications.

Both are equipped with three 50MP cameras called “Eye of the Muse, Star Wheel Triple Camera”.

Apart from the camera, this cellphone also comes with several beautiful colors that make potential buyers have a variety of choices.

Not to forget, this series of cellphones also brings a new battery technology called Silicon-carbon battery which makes its use more durable.

Of course there are many more specifications offered by Honor through this newest cellphone.


On the screen, the Honor Magic 5 Pro is equipped with a 6.81-inch OLED BOE screen.

The screen is capable of up to 120Hz refresh rate, 1300nit global peak brightness, 1800nit local peak brightness, 0.27 Delta, 2160Hz PWM.

The Honor Magic 5 Pro screen is claimed to be Rheinland Rhythm certified which supports dual brightness color calibration technology.

Additionally, second-generation light-gathering technology significantly increases screen brightness and stays clear under strong light.

Has a triple main camera

As said earlier, the Honor Magic 5 Pro is equipped with a system of three main cameras, each with a resolution of 50MP.

The main camera is 50MP with a large 1/1.12 inch bottom sensor and f/1 aperture. 6 ultra-large apertures for greater light intake and better image quality.

After that there is a 50MP periscopic telephoto camera that supports up to 100x digital zoom.

Finally, there is a 50MP ultrawide camera that supports the main camera with a super viewing angle of up to 122°.

For selfies, the phone is equipped with a wide 12MP lens with 3D facial recognition and sensing capabilities.


Magic 5 Pro is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest chipset, namely Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which supports 5G networks.

This chipset is also supported by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage.

With this combination, it is certain that this cellphone will have powerful performance and be able to compete with other cellphone brands.

Even though it’s fierce, this chipset is also known to save power when used on a high usage scale.

Battery Capacity

To compensate, this cellphone is also equipped with a 5450mAh battery, supports 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
