Review Galaxy S20 FE | Galaxy S20 FE 5G – The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is a new member of the more affordable Galaxy S20 Series. But even so, the specifications offered by this cellphone are no less interesting.
The Galaxy S20 FE follows in the footsteps of its brother by packing a punch-hole design or Samsung calls it Infinity-O. The screen itself measures 6.5 inches using a Super AMOLED panel which offers Full HD Plus resolution.
The Galaxy S20 FE screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate which provides a smooth and even more enjoyable viewing or gaming experience because it is also HDR10 + certified. While the small hole placed in the top center is home to a 32 megapixel selfie camera.
While on the back, there is a rectangular camera module like the Galaxy S20 Series. However, the Galaxy S20 FE only has a triple-camera complete with an LED flash inside.
The three cameras consist of a 12 megapixel main camera equipped with Dual Pixel AF and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). There is also a 12 megapixel ultrawide camera with a 123 degree FoV and finally we get an 8 megapixel telephoto camera.
The latter camera offers 3x optical zoom and up to 30x Space Zoom. Samsung has also equipped the camera on this smartphone with interesting photography features. One of these includes Single Take, which allows you to take multiple photos at the tap of a button.
Samsung always presents two different processor variants in its Galaxy S-Series line of smartphones, as well as the Galaxy S20 FE. But this time the two variants of the processor are made for different needs.
First there is its own chipset, the Exynos 990, which is made to serve the needs of users on the 4G network, which promises download speeds of up to 2.0Gbps.
While those who want 5G connectivity will get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. Accompanying the hardware, there is up to 8GB of RAM and storage options between 128GB or 256GB which can still be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE runs the OneUI 2.0 interface based on the Android 10 OS. Meanwhile, to make it usable all day long, it has a pretty large 4,500 mAh capacity battery.
Charging the battery will also be faster because it supports fast charging technology of up to 25 watts, which is claimed to only take 30 minutes to charge more than 50%. More complete with additional wireless support and wireless reverse charging.
Another interesting feature on the Galaxy S20 FE is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance. There are also other features such as an in-display fingerprint sensor, AKG-tuned stereo speakers with Dolby audio, Wi-Fi 6, and Samsung DEX support.
