Infinix announced their entry level smartphone series, namely the Infinix Hot 40. The three models in this series are the Hot 40 Pro, Hot 40, and Hot 40i.

Hot 40 Pro Specifications

This is the highest model of the three Hot 40 Series smartphones, where this smartphone is powered by the Helio G99 SoC. The screen is IPS 6.78″ with Full HD+ resolution and supports up to a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz. There is only one RAM option for the Hot 40 Pro – 8 GB, while the storage is 128 GB or 256 GB.

The Infinix Hot 40 Pro has the best main camera with a 108 MP sensor. Next to it on the back is a 2 MP macro sensor, and what is listed as “AI cam”. Yes, this is a bonus camera that for some reason Infinix always includes.

The selfie camera has a 32 MP sensor and is inside the punchole, where Infinix also offers the Magic Ring feature – a notification zone similar to Dynamic Island. It provides information when the smartphone is opened, being charged or used during a call.

It has three different levels of performance into the games played. The interface uses XOS 13.5, which is based on Android 13.

The Hot 40 Pro battery is claimed to be able to be charged from 20% to 75% in 35 minutes with the available 33W charger.

Hot 40 Specifications

The standard version of the Hot 40 has several specifications that are similar to the Pro version. Including a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh with 33W charging and a 6.78″ LCD. The screen uses a lower refresh rate at 90 Hz, however, the touch sampling rate is actually better, namely at 270 Hz.

Another difference is the main camera. The Hot 40 comes with a 50 MP f/1.6 sensor, paired with 2 MP macro + AI cams. Luckily, the selfie camera is 32 MP, again hidden inside the Magic Ring.

The Hot 40 has a simpler 12nm Helio G88 SoC with a 2.0 GHz CPU. RAM is 8 GB, while storage is 128 GB or 256 GB.
