Review Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S – Just like the Redmi Note 9 Pro, the Redmi Note 9S smartphone comes with a Tiny DotDisplay alias screen design that is reminiscent of Samsung’s Galaxy S20 Series smartphone.
This phone uses a 6.67-inch LCD screen coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 (including on the back) which provides FHD + resolution and is said to have supported HDR10 and TÜV Rheinland.
The small hole placed in the top center of the screen itself is home to a 16-megapixel selfie camera that comes equipped with attractive AI-based features, such as AI portrait mode, AI scene detection, AI Beautify, and more.
There is also a quad-camera arrangement behind the square-shaped design consisting of a 48-megapixel main camera that has a sensor size of 1.6μm with a 4-in-1 Super Pixel setting and f / 1.79 aperture.
The remaining three cameras are an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with 119-degree FoV support, a 5-megapixel macro lens for taking close-up photos of 2cm, and finally, we get a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The Redmi Note 9S is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor such as Realme 6 Pro with paired RAM up to 6GB and 128GB of internal storage which can still be expanded via a microSD card slot.
Completing the specifications, there is already an IR blaster, 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C port, Dual 4G support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, to the fingerprint sensor that is now placed on the side.
the smartphone that runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10 has been pinned with a battery capacity of 5020 mAh which is quite large and also comes with fast charging support.
