Review Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 5G – Redmi Note 9 5G carries a 6.53-inch LCD screen that offers TUV Rheinland certified Full HD Plus resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels) and has been coated with Gorilla Glass 5 to protect the screen from scratches.
But unlike the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, the Redmi Note 9 5G has to make do with the standard 60Hz refresh rate. In addition, the selfie camera which is placed in a small hole in the middle of the screen has also been changed to a 13 megapixel lens.
The circular camera module on the back houses a triple-camera setup with a 48-megapixel main camera. It is smaller than the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G which comes boasting a 108 megapixel camera.
Even so, the camera in the regular version can be used to record 4K video at 30fps. Accompanying the main camera, there is an 8 megapixel superwide lens and a 2 megapixel macro camera.
Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G entrusts Dimensity 800U which is MediaTek’s chipset built on a 7nm process and is equipped with an integrated 5G modem to provide a 5G dual-mode SA / NSA network.
It is paired with RAM options ranging from 6GB or 8GB with internal storage between 128GB and 256GB using UFS 2.2 which is said to be 100% faster at reading data than the previous generation.There is also a microSD card slot to allow users to expand storage capacity.
Other specifications on the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G which are no less interesting are the dual stereo speakers Hi-Res Audio certified, linear motor, fingerprint sensor for device security which is placed on the side and it runs MIUI 12 based on the Android 10 OS.
Meanwhile, to keep it on, the Redmi Note 9 5G has a large 5,000 mAh capacity battery. Unfortunately, Xiaomi only provides it with 18W fast charging support via USB Type-C. However, a 22.5W charger is included in the package.
