Review Xiaomi Black Shark 3S – Black Shark 3S packs a design that is not much different from his brother Black Shark 3, including a 6.67 AMOLED screen that offers a Full HD Plus resolution and an aspect ratio of 20: 9.
But the difference, the new version has reached a refresh rate of 120Hz which increased from 90Hz, but still with a 270Hz touch sampling rate. The screen also supports HDR10 + with brightness reaching 500 nits, 105% DCI-P3, MEMC 3.0.
DC Dimming and in-display fingerprint sensor are also not left behind in the package, while the top bezel is home to a 20 megapixel camera for taking selfies or video calls.
While on the back, we get a triple-camera arrangement behind which consists of a 64-megapixel main camera paired with a 13-megapixel ultra wide camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.
The Black Shark 3S comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. Yes, it’s not the Snapdragon 865 Plus as expected and it’s combined with LPDDR5 12GB RAM and 3.1 to 512GB UFS storage.
The liquid sandwich cooling system is another addition made to keep the device cool. Other specifications provided include 5G support, Dual Nano-SIM, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 6, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Meanwhile, to keep it on, the smartphone that runs on the JoyUI 12 interface based on the Android OS 10 is powered by a 4729 mAh battery capacity equipped with support for 65W fast charging technology.
This allows the device to get up to 50% power in just 12 minutes or 38 minutes to be 100% fully charged. Black Shark 3S also has a special magnetic pin that supports 18 Watt charging.
