Review Xiaomi 12X – Powered by powerful specifications thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 870 processors, the Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, and 12X trio are still being marketed at quite attractive prices.
The three latest Xiaomi cellphones have differences that lie in the processor sector and screen size. The Xiaomi 12X has a lower processor than the 12 and 12 Pro, although the screen it carries remains the same as the standard model.
The screen of the Xiaomi 12X has a size of 6.28 inches diagonally with an AMOLED screen supplied by Samsung which is supported by a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and a brightness level of up to 1,110 nits.
There is a punch hole selfie camera that has a resolution of 32MP and the smartphone screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus glass and can display up to 1 billion colors.
Xiaomi 12X was launched with the latest MIUI 13 operating system based on Android 12 and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset with Adreno 650 GPU and is ready to compete with smartphones in its class such as Poco F3, Realme GT Neo 2, and Motorola Edge X20.
On the back of the smartphone, there is a triple camera configuration with the main camera having a resolution of 50MP equipped with PDAF and OIS accompanied by a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 5MP telephoto macro camera.
There is an in-display optical fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and the smartphone also has stereo speakers tuned in collaboration with Harman Kardon.
The Xiaomi 12X has a 4,500mAh battery supported by 67W fast charging which is advertised as being able to charge from 0 to 100 percent in just 39 minutes.
