The TECNO Spark 8 Pro runs the MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core 12nm chip which is actually a minor upgrade from the G80 series. However, TECNO embeds a software upgrade through the Super Boost feature, brought from HiOS 7.6 based on Android 11. It is claimed to be able to provide an increase of up to 40%.

The TECNO Spark 8 Pro is also equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery. If the previous series was without fast charging and still using the old school port, now both have been ‘corrected’, where the port is already USB-C with 33W fast charging support. The charging process is much faster, reaching 90% in 30 minutes.
