Review Oppo Find X3 Neo | Find X3 Lite – OPPO Find X3 Neo and Find X3 Lite are not really new smartphones. In line with what has been rumored so far, the two phones are another version of the OPPO Reno 5 pro and the Reno5 Pro + which have changed names.
Even so, still the OPPO Find X3 Neo and Find X3 Lite are attractive smartphones. They both come as more affordable alternatives in the Find X3 Series family with best-in-class specs.
Starting with the OPPO Find X3 Neo, this smartphone arrives featuring a 6.5-inch, HDR10-certified AMOLED panel with curved edges like the Find X3 and Find X3 Pro. It’s just that the resolution has been lowered to Full HD Plus plus 90Hz refresh rate support.
It also has an integrated fingerprint sensor underneath and like its sibling, the Find X3 Neo packs a punch-hole design. On the back, the smartphone has a design that the company calls “OPPO Glow” which is textured to handle smudges or fingerprints quite well.
But the highlight is the quad-camera system packaged in a rectangular camera module. The four cameras consist of a 50 megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS support which is further combined with a 16 megapixel ultrawide lens.
There is also a 13 megapixel telephoto lens and a 2 megapixel macro camera. Meanwhile, for taking selfies or video calls, a 32 megapixel camera is embedded in a punch hole in the upper left corner of the screen.
OPPO Find X3 Neo is powered by Snapdragon 865 which was last year’s flagship chipset from Qualcomm. But it’s still quite capable which is then paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Meanwhile, to make it continue to be used throughout the day, the smartphone running ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 has a 4,500 mAh capacity battery and comes with support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 technology.
OPPO Find X3 Lite
Moving on to the OPPO Find X3 Lite, the most affordable model in the Find X3 Series family also comes with a punch-hole design. But it uses a 6.4-inch flat screen that offers Full HD Plus resolution with 90Hz refresh rate support and a fingerprint sensor embedded under it.
The punch hole is home to the 32 megapixel selfie camera. Meanwhile, on the back, we get a quad-camera setup with details of a 64 megapixel main camera which is then accompanied by an 8 megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2 megapixel macro camera and a 2 megapixel depth sensor.
OPPO Find X3 Lite is the only smartphone in the Find X3 Series that is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack and also supports 5G connectivity thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset as the kitchen.
To help out, there’s 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage which again isn’t expandable. As for the 4,300 mAh battery to keep it running. Even though it’s smaller, the Find X3 Lite is also equipped with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 support to ensure it gets faster power.
