Review OnePlus Ace – OnePlus must have been busy lately, developing and launching a bunch of new devices. A while back, we mentioned that an upcoming handset called OnePlus Ace would be debuting soon, and OnePlus has finally unveiled the phone.
The handset is equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080×2412. The screen is also equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a maximum brightness of 500 nits.
The phone comes with the new Dimensity 8100 Max chipset, which is sure to provide more than enough performance for everyday tasks and games.
As for storage, there are different variants with 128GB and 8GB RAM storage, 256GB and 8/12GB RAM storage, and 512GB storage with 12GB RAM.
The back of the phone has a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front is a single 16-megapixel selfie camera, embedded in the perforated screen in the middle.
Powering the Ace is a 4,500 mAh battery, which is compatible with 150W fast charging. Since OnePlus and Realme are both owned by BBK Electronics, this phone has some similarities to the Realme GT Neo 3, both internally and externally.
Software-wise, the phone runs on Android 12 even with ColorOS 12.1. Since the phone hasn’t seen a global release yet, there might be a chance that the international variant will feature OxygenOS.
