Review LG K42 – The LG K42 carries a 6.6-inch LCD screen by offering HD Plus resolution and as mentioned, the phone packs a punch-hole design to accommodate one 8 megapixel selfie camera which is placed at the top center.
On the back, we get a quad-camera setup housed in a rectangular camera module complete with an LED flash. It includes a 13 megapixel main camera paired with a 5 megapixel superwide camera, a 2 megapixel macro lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor.
The LG K42 is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P22 processor accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is equipped with a microSD card slot to allow users to expand storage capacity.
Complementing the specifications, the LG K42 has a fingerprint sensor that is placed on the side, a dedicated button for Google Assistant access, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
There is also a 3D Sound Engine and like other LG smartphone lines, the LG K42 which has dimensions of 165 x 76.7 x 8.4mm and weighs about 182 grams is MIL-STD-810G certified which makes it able to withstand all in extreme environmental conditions.
Meanwhile, to keep it running, the smartphone running on the LG UX interface based on the Android 10 OS is powered by a 4,000 mAh capacity battery that can be charged via USB Type-C.
