Review Honor Watch GS 3 – In addition to launching the HONOR Magic V foldable smartphone, the company also introduced the HONOR Watch GS 3. This premium smartwatch was first leaked last August as a smartwatch with a slim look.
HONOR Watch GS 3 is manufactured using 316L low-carbon stainless steel with 3D curved glass and graded bezel. This watch weighs 44 grams and is 10.5 mm thick.
The screen is packed using a 1.43-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a pixel density of 326 ppi. Internally, this smartwatch is equipped with a 451 mAh battery which is claimed to last 14 days for normal use.
However, when the GPS is activated, the HONOR Watch GS 3 can only last for 30 hours. With a 5-minute charge, the smartwatch can be used all day.
One of the features embedded in the HONOR Watch GS 3 is the 8-channel PPG module. This module provides a minimum accuracy of up to 97% for heart rate tracking.
In addition, 24/7 blood oxygen tracking is also supported, with sleep monitoring equipped with 200 methods to improve the user’s sleep quality.
In terms of fitness functions, users can take advantage of more than 100 sport modes, of which 10 are professional sports modes. HONOR Watch GS 3 supports 5 major satellite constellations, namely GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and NAVIC.
The HONOR Watch GS 3 runs on LiteOS and is powered by the Apollo4 chipset with 4GB of internal storage. Other support that this smartwatch has, namely AliPay in the Chinese market, NFC and several pre-installed applications. This watch is equipped with 5ATM water resistance.
