Review Honor Tablet V7 Pro – Having a wide screen, the physical body of the Honor Tab V7 Pro is quite compact for an 11-inch size, thanks to the four front bezels that are made very slim. The panel used is an LCD, not AMOLED, but has a 2K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. Plus the DCI-P3 color standard and a maximum brightness of up to 500 nits.
Using a 16:10 ratio, the screen of the Honor Tab V7 Pro is optimized for multitasking purposes. This Android 11 tablet runs the MagicOS 5.0 interface, adapted for large screens. Users will be able to run multiple applications at once, plus take advantage of features such as drag and drop between applications.
Honor also equips its tablet with productivity support accessories. Call it the Magic Pencil 2 stylus and the keyboard that doubles as a case, able to make the Honor Tab V7 Pro screen float a little like the Magic Keyboard belonging to the iPad Pro.
Honor appointed MediaTek, to use their best chipset designed specifically for tablets, namely the MediaTek Kompanio 1300T. The chip already uses 6nm fabrication, using an octa-core CPU architecture with Cortex-A78 & Cortex-A55 chips. It has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
It is stated that this tablet supports the RAM expansion feature, aka it can take internal storage as virtual RAM, although it is not mentioned the largest size that can be used by the user. A special 7-layer cooling system is also prepared to maintain performance in long duration use.
The battery capacity is also quite large, reaching 7,250 mAh and supporting 22.5W fast charging. Supports multimedia features, embedded in a total of four DTS:X Ultra speakers, a 1080P front camera and two 13+2MP rear cameras.
