Review Honor Play4 || Honor Play4 Pro – Honor Play 4 and 4 Pro both come with a perforated screen design, but the Pro version has two selfie cameras and of course carries higher specifications than the regular model.
Starting with the Honor Play 4, we get a 6.81-inch Full HD screen with a punch-hole design alias a perforated screen like the Honor Play 4T to hold a 16 megapixel selfie camera.
There is also a quad-camera arrangement behind which is arranged vertically placed in a square camera module complete with an LED flash inside.
The four cameras consist of a 64 megapixel main camera which is accompanied by an ultra-wide angle camera, then there is a 2 megapixel macro lens and the last is a 2 megapixel depth sensor.
Honor Play 4 relies on MediaTek’s middle class chipset, Dimensity 800, following in the footsteps of Huawei Enjoy Z, which also supports 5G connectivity.
This phone has pinned RAM options between 6GB or 8GB and 128GB of internal storage which can still be expanded up to 512GB by utilizing a microSD slot.
Another interesting feature is the presence of VC liquid cooling technology and a 12 layer heat dissipation structure to ensure that the inside temperature stays cool when used for long gaming.
There is also a fingerprint sensor that is placed on the side and it runs Magic UI 3.1 based on the Android OS 10. Meanwhile, to make it work, Honor Play 4 has a battery capacity of 4,300 mAh with 22.5W fast-charging support.
As mentioned, Honor Play 4 Pro is the highest model in this series. The Pro version comes with a Full HD + 6.57 inch screen using an LCD panel and also has a fingerprint sensor on the side.
It also packs a punch-hole design like the regular version, it’s just that in the Honor Play 4 Pro there is an additional 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera that is combined with the 32-megapixel main camera to take selfies or video calls.
Moving to the back, the Honor 4 Play Pro smartphone has a 40-megapixel Sony IMX600 RYYB main camera paired with an 8-megapixel telephoto lens that has support for 3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, up to 30x digital zoom.
You might think Honor Play 4 Pro only has two rear cameras. That’s true, but this smartphone has a small sensor around the camera module which is a Laser AF system to help increase auto focus.
In addition, the camera on this smartphone is also equipped with AIS, EIS anti-shake, kirin ISP 5.0, and it can record 4K video at 60fps or 1080p super slow motion video at 960fps.
this phone as expected arrives powered by the Kirin 990 processor which also has 5G connectivity that is accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Another highlight that is not less interesting in the Honor Play 4 Pro is the support of IR temperature sensors in one of its variants that can measure the temperature of a person or object from -20 degrees Celsius to 100 degrees Celsius.
Honor Play 4 Pro smartphone is powered by a 4,200 mAh battery. Despite having a slightly smaller battery capacity, charging on this smartphone will be faster thanks to the support of 40W fast-charging.
