Not only did Apple launch the iPhone 14 Series consisting of the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro max, and iPhone 14 Plus as well as the regular version of the iPhone 14, Apple also launched a series of smart watches at the annual Apple Event which was held on Thursday (8/9/ 2022) this morning.
There are three Apple Watch models presented. They are the Apple Watch 8, Apple Watch SE, and Apple Watch Ultra. These three compact smartwatches offer superior specifications and topnotch features to their users.
This latest Apple smartwatch already has the military standard MIL-STD-810H, can be used in various extreme temperature conditions, is resistant to drops and vibrations. Also safe to use for diving, carrying WR100 & EN 13319 certifications. When Apple Watch Ultra enters the water, it will automatically display the depth to the maximum usable limit.
The screen of the Apple Watch Ultra has a diameter of 49mm, and Apple has prepared a new watch face called Wayfinder, which can provide more information in one simple display. When used outdoors, it can fire up to a maximum of 2000 nits—impressive for a smartwatch. Apple also features three special straps, designed for different usage scenarios such as extreme water sports and trail climbing.
The Apple Watch Ultra smartwatch is also designed to be more comfortable for outdoor voice calls. For that, there are three microphones that can muffle the sound of the wind, plus two speakers on the body—can also be used as a siren that can be turned on when in an emergency situation, up to 86 decibels.
