Amazfit premieres. Last year we met the Amazfit T-Rex, an all-terrain beast with military resistance. Its successor is the T-Rex 2, a model that promises to work in extreme temperatures, adding GPS as a star function. We tell you all the features and specifications of the new model.

The T-Rex 2 is Amazfit’s toughest approach to the world of smartwatches. This T-Rex 2 GPS combines a dual band system and five satellites, for outdoor use with high precision. It also increases its water resistance, which is now 10 ATM.
It also greatly improves the battery life, which goes from 390mAh to 500mAh. In this generation they promise that it can work for 24 days, even though it has a larger screen and resolution. Of course, it has AMOLED technology again.
Regarding sports and health monitoring, we are talking about more than 150 sport modes, with new sports such as fishing, triathlon, hunting or surfing. It’s designed to withstand temperatures between -40 and 70 degrees Celsius, so it can withstand extreme weather conditions, regardless of the sport you’re doing.
In addition to exercise modes, this monitor monitors 24-hour heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, and stress measurements. It can even measure respiratory rate, something that is especially relevant in devices intended for extreme sports.
