Leaks and rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series have started to increase recently. The upcoming wearable is slated to debut at the brand’s Galaxy Unpacked event in late July. The next generation Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series models are expected to come with thinner bezels and larger screens than their predecessors. He added that the screen size has increased by 20 percent while the back norgin has decreased by 30 percent.
Galaxy Watch 6 Classic performance
Under the hood, the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic are said to be powered by an Exynos W930 processor built on a 5nm process. Both will pack 2GB of RAM which is half a GB more than the previous generation. The smartwatch will have 16GB of internal storage.
Regarding the battery, the 40 and 44mm size variants of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 are expected to get 300 and 425mAh cells respectively. This is an upgrade from the Watch 5’s 284 and 410mAh units on the same size model.
The source also adds that the two sizes of Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will also share the same battery capacity as the vanilla variant with the base 43mm option getting 300mAh and the 47mm version having 425mAh cells. This is a sizeable drop from the 590mAh battery on last year’s Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.
